Picture 12/29: Farm Water

December 29
(picture 363 of 365)

Today's picture of the day comes compliments of my dad:

This is the floodwall on south end of the creek that flows thru our family farm down in Edgar County.

As you can see, there is oodles of water pouring over the top from the adjacent farm field.

This is not normal.

Under regular conditions, the only water entering the creek comes out of the tile that is inside/under the floodwall.

But the crazy heavy December rains this week have caused water pools and ponds all over Central Illinois.

Out for now.......

Matt
