All 6 of these folks were arrested for drugs -- either possession or manufacture.
Take a deep gander into their eyes.
Look how desperate they are.
Look at the torment, the torture, the struggle, the pain, the addiction.
Look at the sadness.
I don't know any of these folks.
But each belongs to someone -- a mom, a dad, a brother, a sister, a spouse, a child.
Likely multiple of those.
Looking at their faces..... and into their eyes..... my heart aches.
Aches for the choice they've made.
Aches for the consequences coming to them.
Aches for family units being ripped apart.
Damn the scourges of addiction that our nation battles.
