I have never seen a high school gym scoreboard like this one:
(Sangamon Valley H.S. in Niantic)
Old school in that they manually load the names of the players on the boards that get raised on either side of the scoreboard.
New school in that the number of fouls for the players are represented by the lit diamonds next to each name.
Not sure why it impressed me so much. Guess because it was such a unique old school / new school combo.
