Thanks to the state, Eastern Illinois University instructor A.J. Walsh cannot find a decent place to pee.
Her office is on the main floor of Coleman Hall at EIU. The floor has one (1) women's rest room, some of which is covered in plastic while it is under construction.
It (the only women's bathroom on her floor at the university) has been closed for repairs for months. It remains closed because, A.J. says, the people the state hired to work on it have been laid off. A.J. has a broken ankle and is getting around on one leg while the other rests on a scooter.
