By total randomness, I happened across the logo/insignia for Illinois' Vermilion County (Danville).
The "Old Salt Kettle" referred to on the logo represents the pioneers and their first "industry": salt mining.
In today's politically-correct, separation of church & state, anti-religion world, to see a Bible verse on a governmental logo is something.
Matthew 5:13 --
"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot."
A very meaningful one.
Wonder how many looking at the logo today even realize this is a Bible verse?
