In case you haven't heard, the Central Illinois Animal Drive-thru Safari thing is now open:
This is the "attraction" that was built on the grounds (primarily parking lot and pasture) of the former Rockhome Gardens.

They are still working on developing the rest of the property (former Rockhome attraction) into various things, such as a petting zoo.
The family that built all that stone artwork and carefully cared for all those flowerbeds for decades has to really be torn-up about this.
(Hopefully, some of it was preserved.)
Progress, right?
