Had another end-of-year school event tonight:
Nearly 50% of the AOMS kids are involved in a sport which is an amazingly high percentage. I think it speaks well to the quality of the coaches leading those teams.
Our eighth-grader was recognized twice: volleyball and cheerleading.
For volleyball, Coach Newbanks named her "Most Improved Player", which our daughter was ecstatic about. She worked so hard this season, and the results were clearly visible by season's end.
Proud daddy moment.
