Was working outside this afternoon.
Look what I found in a bag of Menard's top soil:
Is that an Indian bead?
I think it might be.
There was a gal (Audrey) in my graduating class who could tell me for sure. I remember her (in elementary days) being interested in searching for Indian beads, arrowheads, etc.
For now, I am going to call it an Indian bead. In fact, I'm going to say it dates back to 1825. And is from the Illini tribe.
How's that for blind confidence?
