I have reached an achievement/plateau that, 10 years ago, seemed so massively far down the road.
I'm the dad to a pair of high schoolers:
Yup, as of tonight, our 8th grader was promoted into high school.
So, so very proud of her. We tell her that often. But I don't think she comprehends just how proud we are.
It was a very nice deal to have both sets of her grandparents at the ceremony and at the shindig back at the house afterwards.
Celebrating with family is awesome.
