Olympic Rubbers

This is staggering:

The organizers of these Games are prepared and ready for plenty of bedroom gymnastics. The International Olympic Committee confirmed it would provide 450,000 condoms for the Village, which equates to 42 per athlete, or two per day assuming they check in ahead of the event and remain until the end.

It's the secret little part of the Olympics that you're not gonna hear about from Bob Costas and Ryan Seacrest.

Sex Olympics

Think about the situation.

Young, fit, well-conditioned athletes.

Many at the prime/pinnacle of their career.

Most very tired/exhausted/tense from weeks, months, years of training and conditioning.

Yet most very excited/celebratory to be in Rio.

VERY excited.

Jammed like sardines into athlete housing with other young, fit, well-conditioned athletes from around the globe.

It's a recipe for stupid decisions, meaningless passion and broken hearts.

Condom numbers at the Olympics have greatly increased since the first released figures, 8,500 at Seoul in 1988. There were more than 90,000 handed out at Barcelona four years later, and 100,000 in Beijing eight years ago, where the product's packaging brilliantly included the Olympic motto — Faster, Higher, Stronger.

London set a record with 150,000, which has now been smashed by Rio's number, which includes 100,000 female condoms.

And from a different article:
The presence of the Zika epidemic in Brazil does heighten the need for safe sex given that the Zika virus can be sexually transmitted. The Brazilian government is also handing out more than 8 million condoms for free around Rio de Janeiro during the Olympics in order to encourage safe sex. For those worried about the Amazon rainforest, the governments insists that the condoms are “forest-friendly”, consisting of a natural rubber extracted from the Seringueira tree.

Now you know that not everyone is participating in this rampant Olympic Orgy.

But for those who are, their participation tarnishes the Games and the Olympians' reputation.

They may be world-class athletes, but they clearly lack in judgment, self-control and forward-thinking.

Out for now.......
