St. Lou Aquarium

Big news out of St. Louis.

Especially if you are a fan of Union Station.

And a fan of sharks.

The rebirth of Union Station in downtown St. Louis is set to include a 75,000-square-foot aquarium, which will feature one of the largest collections of sharks in the Midwest.

Here are artist drawings as well:

WOW!

Yet another rebirth/renewal of the grand ol' majestic Union Station.

With one already underway! (see MattChat post: http://matthonnold.blogspot.com/2016/01/updating-union-station.html)

But not everyone is happy.

Especially about the shark part:
The St. Louis Aquarium will irrevocably damage the lives of thousands of sentient beings. It will also teach children that an animal's well-being is less important than a human's momentary amusement.

Will the negativity doom the developer's plans?

Time will tell.

Out for now........

Matt
