5 Crazies Today
Yesterday was a really amazing day in the news department.
"Amazing"...... like an "amazing downer".
Really sad/depressing stuff.
Take a look at these 5 items:
The United States has reached the preliminary conclusion that Russian warplanes bombed an aid convoy and warehouse belonging to the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, two US officials say.
The FBI interviewed bombing suspect's Ahmad Rahami's father in 2014 after a violent domestic dispute. At the time of this interview, Rahami was already in jail following a family dispute in which he was accused of stabbing a relative. The FBI ran through more checks but never interviewed Ahmad Rahami, according to officials.
A USA TODAY report shows that Gayle Manchin, the former president of the National Association of State Boards of Education, led an unprecedented effort that encouraged states to require schools to purchase medical devices that fight life-threatening allergic reactions. Those actions boosted the fortunes of the drugmaker, Mylan Specialty, which produces EpiPens. Mylan is run by Manchin's daughter, Heather Bresch.
Former President George H.W. Bush told a room of about 40 people that he would vote for Hillary Clinton in November, according to sources close to Bush -- an extraordinary rebuke of his party's nominee.
49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick said that he has been the target of death threats from multiple "avenues" and that any action against him would prove him right.
Where is our nation headed?
Where is our world headed?
Out for now......
