This little guy is a survivor:
It's a volunteer hosta coming up in the crack of our front sidewalk.
He first appeared back in late June and has been trying hard to survive ever since.
Lots of foot traffic. Plus, it's been surviving on just rain water -- no extra H2O from us.
I think hostas are a beautiful plant so I've not had the heart to spray Roundup on him.
Knowing how hostas spread, he'll likely have friends next year.
Out for now.......
