In yesterday's Picture of the Day, I showed you 1 dish that I was planning on cooking up for Thanksgiving (corn casserole).
Well, here's an "in-progress" shot of the 2nd dish I whipped-up:
Stewed cranberries.
A very simple recipe....... thus, it was a good one for me to attempt. ;)
Our 4th grader was my trusted assistant in putting both dishes together.
She was a great helper -- loves to break eggs, dump stuff and mix stuff.
I sense that she may end up being the daughter who enjoys cooking the most.
Time will tell.
