Dollar General Fire Hazard

My oh my is this scary.......

Since 2010, the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has found more than 100 safety and health violations at Dollar General stores nationwide.

"In an emergency, blocked exits can be the difference between life and death. Piling up merchandise and blocking exit routes puts workers - and customers - at risk," said Judy Freeman, OSHA's area director in Wichita. "Dollar General has been cited repeatedly for these hazards at its stores nationwide. The company must immediately address these hazards before tragedy strikes."

Sounds like emergency exits have been found blocked by merchandise and/or shopping carts.  Over and over.  In many different stores.

Obviously, that's not a good thing.

Recipe for a disaster.

Here's more on the story:

Next time I'm in our local DollGen store, I'm gonna check the doors just to see how accessible they are.

Out for now.......
