It always arrives shortly after the start of each new year:
The DISH Network "important account updates" envelope.
Alerting me of the rate increase coming on my next bill.
They always attempt to write a letter to explain away why the increase is needed. Basically, shifting the blame away from DISH and making the TV channels the bad guy.
And they always include a little promo gift to try and soften the blow of yet another increase.
The envelope.
It's expected.
And it's tiring.
But they are still cheaper than cable and DirectTV.
