I was working on transferring miscellany out of my former work car into my replacement work car. (in other words, my daughter does not want my stuff in her vehicle)
Found this under the driver seat:
A "Handmade by Dad" creation, it's a dagger thingy to break the car window in the event of need for emergency escape.
At some point in the past, we were given a similar tool -- except "Made in China" -- that has the window smasher on it as well as a blade to cut through a seat belt.
I'll leave that one in my daughter's car and take Dad's to ride around with me.
Obviously, my honest hope is that neither one will ever be used. But if the need arises, we're ready to smash some glass!
