Why DST?
Well, our family has survived another time change.
We all lost an hour somewhere, maybe it'll be found by Fall, eh? ;)
Sounds like the time change can be really rough on some folks:
An hour may not seem like a lot, but the time shift can have significant effects on the body, says Sandhya Kumar, MD, assistant professor of neurology and medical director of the Sleep Disorders Center at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina. “With the spring time change, you essentially have to go to bed earlier and get up earlier, which is difficult for many of us to do,” she says. “Most of us end up losing 40 to 50 minutes of sleep those first few days—and as a nation that’s significantly sleep deprived to begin with, even that little change can impact health.”
Impact health how? 7 big ways:
So why not end the whole concept of DST?
This guy is all for it........
Daylight Savings Time has more enemies than fans (Bill Mego)
"So who really hates DST? Well, I do. It's a colossal waste of time and energy that has been reported to cost Americans $1.7 billion a year. That may not true, but I'm going to say it anyway because I think all this springing forward and falling back is so incredibly stupid.
Besides me, the biggest haters of DST have always been farmers. Crops dry when they dry, farmhands show up when there's work to be done, and cows need milking when they're full. Farmers have always thought that DST imposed artificial schedules on them regarding when they ship and sell their goods, and they have historically opposed it."

Yes, I find DST annoying. But having light until after 7pm...... that is huge for me.
Because of that, I can deal with the whole clock thing twice a year.
Out for now.......
