I wrote about this book 2 months ago:
Well -- my copy (above) arrived today!
Very excited to open it to Chapter One and start reading all about one of my favorite Cardinals of all time.
His life in baseball is a story about overcoming challenge, ridicule, embarrassment, failure, disappointment and heartbreak.
He let none of that break him.
No, he'll never make the Hall of Fame.
But, what he taught and demonstrated thru his actions, words and perseverance is the story of a real All-Star.
