Was looking for something tonight and came across something that was not the something that I was looking for:
Years ago, I'd take our girls (the 2 oldest) over to Lowe's on Saturday mornings for their "Build and Grow Workshops".
My ladies would put on their little Lowe's apron and slap on some goggles then proceed to hammer together a wooden project kit of some type.
A music box.
A plane.
A train.
Many others.
Upon completion, they'd each get a patch (the ones above) to sew onto that Lowe's apron. A badge of completion.
We still have many of those little projects sitting in a bag out in the garage. Each one holds sweet memories for me.
A special time from the past that will not be lived again.
