Something new has started to appear on the check-out receipts at the Argenta-Oreana Library:
Reported savings...... just like at Kroger!
Maybe this is a new system-wide initiative to bring additional recognition of the value of the local library?
As you can see, I've saved nearly $217 in just 5 weeks by loaning materials from the library rather than purchasing.
I'm sure these values are based on new pricing rather than used bookstore pricing, but nonetheless, it's a really cool statistic.
