My wife's high school:
Delavan High up in Delavan Illinois.
Built in 1922.
Being demolished this week.
I asked the lovely Mrs. Honnold if it bothered her to know it was coming down.
She said no.
Some day, my beautiful brick high school down in Kansas Illinois will suffer the same fate.
Its halls are full of sweet memories.
And yes, it will bother me.
