Picture 9/9: Baby Pineapple

Dropped by Prairie Gardens over in Champaign today.

We wandered out into the greenhouse area where I came across the most fascinating little plant:

Look at that baby pineapple!

I LOVE PINEAPPLE :: MY FAVORITE FRUIT!!

I thought it was fake at first, but no, it's the real deal.

For $25, there was no way I was gonna purchase this thing.  But just to see one and hold one in the middle of Central Illinois on a warm September afternoon was ultra cool.
