A beautiful November day.
And a beautiful stadium up in DeKalb at Northern Illinois University.
We made the trip north in order to watch our daughter's boyfriend's team play in the state championship game.
Couldn't have asked for a nicer late-November day than this one. With the great weather, we were even able to get out and walk around the NIU campus some.
Other than the ugly flyers/advertisements posted everywhere and the trash littering-up the stream running thru campus, the place was well-groomed and very "homey". Really cool architecture on some of their old buildings too.
