Up until August, I was based in an office in the heart of downtown Decatur.
My new position has me back at the big HQ building on the east side of Decatur...... returning to where I worked from 1997-2009.
Which means nearly every day, I drive thru the beautiful (former) Faries Park getting to work.
Down this hill:
The old golf course's pond on my left.
Lake Decatur straight ahead of me.
And surrounded by trees.
Plus fog this morning.
I'm in-and-out of the park in like 4 minutes. But it's a great 4 minutes to start my day.
