Sucks to see yet another anchor store over in the Hickory Point Mall closing its' doors.
Sears gone.
JCPenney gone (replaced by Hobby Lobby).
And now this one:
Over 250 stores nationwide for this Bon-Ton Stores bankruptcy. All those jobs......
We're not big Bergners shoppers at all. Best thing about this particular store in Forsyth....... the escalator. Lots of fun growing-up memories with the girls as they've been on those moving stairs. Free rides!
To my knowledge, there will be no operating escalators left in Macon County after this one is turned off.
