Picture 9/18: Joke on a Stick

September 18 (year 4, picture 261) Could not believe my eyes when I got to the end of this popsicle: A joke. (not unexpected) This joke. (unexpected) For years, as the girls were growing up, this towel joke was our family's "default". Anytime someone wanted to hear a joke, this one would often be the one they'd hear. Defending Switzerland

I happened to come across an interesting tidbit within an article about Switzerland's neutrality. The article made reference to the extensive preparations that have been made in the event that Switz would be threatened. Mountain bunkers & hangars Bridges & tunnels wired with explosives Anti-aircraft guns hidden in barns I dug a little deeper and located more information. Some of the preparations relate back to WWII when there was concern over a German or Russian invasion. I am not posting these links as fact, but rather as "leads" for you to do your own research.
