Measuring Grain
This was a tool that came in handy as we were taking the measurements down in New Orleans last week.
We used this a few times to gain an additional comfort level with some of the 120' concrete silos.
Measuring a silo (or bin) -- then doing the extension calculations -- is tricky business.
Everyone understood that there is no perfect science for a perfect measurement without bringing in some sophisticated laser/mapping equipment.
