Picture 6/23: KHS Bell

Visiting Dad and Mom today, we took a loop around Kansas visiting some of the garage sales taking place.

Near the tail-end of that walk, we sauntered past Kansas High School, and this proud 1993 grad got a little sentimental.

That's the old bell from an earlier school building that has sat in front of the current building for 50+ years.

Our class has a time capsule buried somewhere around it, but I was not able to locate the marker.

When it comes time to open it, we'll need a metal detector to find it.
