Every time I hear "Dad, will you play with me?", my heart smiles.
2 of my ladies are already past this stage. We don't play dolls or make-believe any more, but we talk. And those chat times are so precious.
I still hear this request from our youngest. And whether it's stuffed animals, Minecraft, or "horse" in the pool, I always strive to make time.
Because time is short.
