Decatur Food Inspections
Wowzas! The food/health inspectors in Decatur continue to come across really disgusting conditions month after month after month.
By my count, we're now up to 7 restaurant closures (temporary) since last October:
Beach House - October 2018
Claire's - November 2018
Popeye's - January 2019
Garcia's - March 2019
KFC - March 2019
La Fondita - March 2019
Benny's - March 2019
All of the inspection reports are posted on the Health Department's website. If I'm a restaurant manager, I am making copies of every one of those reports and going over them with my managers on a regular basis to ensure my establishment is in compliance with the established safety standards.
Some of the stuff being found is just plain NASTY!
