Hawaii Vaca ABC's

Finally got this done.  Our "Hawaii ABCs" from the family vacation we completed a couple weeks ago.


A: Art on ankle (family came home with 3 tattooes)

B: Black Dodge Caravan (rental car)

C: Chickens (and pigeons and lots of other birds);  special note:  Ash the pigeon who visited our 9th floor balcony multiple times

D: Dad's Day (very memorable Fathers Day hiking up Diamondhead and visiting Pearl Harbor)

E: Excellent sales  (all sorts of great shopping right along Waikiki Beach)

F: Fishies at aquarium and snorkeling

G: Girls taking turns sleeping on floor  (our condo was short 1 spot)

H: Hangtime on the parasail

I: Iphone photo shoots (many of which have been shared here on MattChat)

J: Jumping in ocean waves

K: Kindness (the Hawaiian people have such a gentle spirit and good heart)

L: Luau (fire dancers were amazing, family came home with personalized bracelets)

M: Military history at Pearl Harbor

N: Numerous trips to the ABC Store (1 on nearly every block)

O: Oahu island drive

P: Pineapple plantation

Q: Quiet after dark on the balcony (listening to the waves crash in)

R: Restaurants (2 of our favorites:  Island Burgers and Eggs N Things)

S: Snails on the sidewalk (see previous MattChat post)

T: Trek up Diamondhead (hot, but well-worth it)

U: United Airlines (first flight for 3 of us)

V: Valet Eddy (what a guy!)

W: Waikiki Walks (so beautiful to just get out and walk the boardwalk/streets)

X: Xcelent fun on the beach (collecting shells)

Y: Yummy shaved ice

Z: Zzzzzzzzzz's after a long day of fun
