For those from Decatur, you'll recognize this:
Today, this beautiful architectural treasure looks like this:
It's the A.E. Staley Pump House. Owned for many years by Tate & Lyle.
And there are serious preparations in place for demolition.
As a fan of history, I'm not a fan of that. Especially considering there's an effort going and plans in place to purchase the treasure and bring it back to life.
