The family was playing card games tonight. Conversation got off on the topic of popular songs from our year of birth.
I really had no clue at all what was popular in my birth year (1974), so I had to look it up.
"The Streak" by Ray Stevens is there.
So are several from Elton John.
And "Haven't Got Time for the Pain" by Carly Simon.
"Sunshine on My Shoulders" (John Denver) and "Sweet Home Alabama" (Lynyrd Skynyrd) too.
Even came across a new one...... "Clap for the Wolfman" by The Guess Who.
What an incredibly intriguing title! So much so, I had to call it up on YouTube. It's a tribute to the great DJ "Wolfman Jack".
It's definitely an interesting little ditty.
