Blood to Quincy
Since being reinstated as a blood donor, I've now given twice.
Today, I received an e-mail from the Red Cross letting me know where my 2nd donation ended-up.
It was shipped (and used, hopefully) to a hospital in Quincy, Illinois.
How cool that my blood could have been used to save the life of a fellow Illinoisan!
If you'll recall, my blood was shipped to Vermont last time:
To me, it makes no difference where my donation ends-up. What's important is that I was able to help someone...... anyone...... hopefully to make a big difference in their life.
