Look at this collection of headlines.......

Average Gas Prices Are Below $2. A Few Stations Are Even Selling For Under $1

Parts of Wisconsin see gas prices dip to .79 per gallon

Gas prices drop bellow a dollar at some Texoma gas stations

Gas prices in Oklahoma City drop to under a dollar per gallon

Cleveland gas station among first to price fuel at 99 cents in Ohio

And then there's California........

Hard To Believe: Gas Under $2 A Gallon At One Riverside County Station

While this may seem like a reason to cheer (and believe me...... many, many people are), this cheap gas is most definitely not something to cheer.

Not at all.

So many folks simply do not understand -- or have not made an attempt to educate themselves.


Multiple factors are at work -- none of them good.
