Final Harvest

One of my very favorite things here in my office at home:

The soybeans and corn in those 2 jars are from Dad and Mom's final Twin Creek Farm harvest --- back in 2005.

15 years later, they haven't rotted.  Or been lost/broken.

And remain a very special memory of mine -- all those years walking beans, riding the combine, cleaning out grain bins, etc. etc.
