I purchased a couple new tools over the winter:
The one on the left is a dandelion extractor -- it even has a name: "Grampa's Weeder". Was $3 at a flea market in Paris, Illinois. I decided that I could get $3 worth of use/fun out of it.
The one on the right is the replacement I purchased when my strap-on spikey shoes (see previous post) were determined to be junk. It punches holes in the yard to help reduce grass root compaction which will help with aeration and fertilization. From Amazon -- it was definitely more than $3..... but I really needed something.
Time for yard work!
