Drive-in Theaters Back

"None of us could argue that we were essential, like a pharmacy or a gas station or a grocery store.  But neither could we argue that we were nonessential. People are going to want to go. It's a safe place to go on a night out. It's also a safe place to go for church services, weddings, graduation ceremonies."

I've never been to a drive-in movie theater.

Now that they are back after the coronavirus hiatus, we're going to make a point this summer to get to the one in Springfield or in Gibson City.

The Post-Dispatch had a cool article recently about how drive-ins are gonna fulfill a key need/niche for society during the time of social distancing:

Who in the world knows when we'll be allowed back into an actual movie theater?  4th of July?  Labor Day?
