A pet peeve is a behavior or display that generates slight annoyance in people. They aren’t things that are so inappropriate and rude that they necessarily warrant taking action, but they’re generally bothersome in a way that will make you roll your eyes in frustration.

Whining, complaining, and grumbling
Gerrymandering
New cars not including spare tire as standard equipment
Cell phone use driving in parking lots
Driving without lights (dusk, rain)
Too bright dim headlights
Potholes that don't get filled within 2-3 weeks
Building more roads when we can't maintain current ones
Road construction: lots of workers just standing around
Grass / leaves blown into street
Shoplifters
Casey's air hose not being hung-up after use
Face masks on the ground
Litter floating on Lake Decatur
Lottery players dropping losing tix in gas station parking lot
Painted stripes/marks faded on roads
People who place possessions over people
Houses that do not participate in curbside recycling
People who insist that Jesus was a white guy
Roadways blocked by stopped trains
People leaving unwanted merchandise in random spots around Wal-Mart
Those who do damage in graveyards
Confederate flags
Mistreatment of pets
Shopping carts not returned to a cart corral
Shopping carts spotted blocks away from the store
Parked cars in fire lane at store, hindering flow of traffic
Public restrooms where you must crank for a hand towels
Public restrooms with air dryers (no paper towels), then doors you have to grab/pull to exit
Mattresses and construction waste dumped along rural country roads
Folks who throw trash into the sand of the cigarette butt receptacle, which then just blows out and becomes litter
Folks who post signs at intersections for their garage sale then don't take them down
Guy uses urinal...... guy walks out of bathroom without washing hands
Talking on cell phone while checking out at a store
Speeders in the neighborhood
