2021 was a spectacular year for U.S. corn and beans:
Look at all those states colored in yellow (corn) and green (beans)....... record high yields for those.
Illinois's record 64 bushels per acre on beans led the nation, barely nipping out Nebraska and Iowa.
And Illinois corn was well-above the national average.
With all that's wrong with the government and financial state of Illinois, one thing is for sure...... we are blessed with fantastic farmland and incredibly-talented agricultural professionals.
