When I clicked on the "See why fact-checkers say this is false" link, I was referred to this quote as the most-likely source/origin of the one falsely-attributed to Emerson:

Fact-checked on Instagram.
They were calling my attention to the fact that this somewhat popular quote is not attributable to Ralph Waldo Emerson.
Despite it being ALLLLLLL over the internet as credited to him.
