Labor Day is tomorrow.
Free air at the Casey's General Store locations was something that could be counted on.
The unofficial end of summer.
All things considered, our family has had a very good Summer of '22.
Lots of high points.
Just a few low points -- and most of those were the result of an external force outside of our control.
One of them..... the end of this:
If a low pressure light illuminated on the dashboard, my mind would start racing....... where's the nearest Casey's and how can I get there?
Alas, no more.
Looks like they have contracted-out the service -- most likely for 2 reasons: maintenance of the compressors, replacement of the hoses (which so many people just could not get hung back up after use).
It sucks.
Another downer: part of the roof blew off our house. That definitely ranks higher/worse than the Casey's air situation. Although frustrating, that can be resolved.
Free air cannot.
