America has the largest national debt in the world at $30.9 trillion. With a population of over 333 million, that means a debt burden of $92,709 per citizen and $245,191 for each taxpayer and equates to a public debt to gross domestic product ratio of 97.53%, according to USdebtclock.org.

2017 $20 TRILLION
2020 $25 TRILLION and $26T and $27T
2021 $28 TRILLION and $29T
2022 $30 TRILLION
Approx 8.5 years to double from $10T to $20T.
Approx 3 years to jump from $20T to $25T.
Approx. 2.5 years to jump from $25T to $30T.
At this pace, we will easily hit the $40 TRILLION mark by 2027 -- maybe by 2026 or even 2025.
Especially if the government continues to give away free bucks after free bucks after free bucks. None of which we can afford.
Meanwhile, $31 TRILLION is right around the corner......
