Serve at the Kettle

It's almost kettle season!

Have you ever volunteered as a bellringer?  Whether or not you've done it before, I encourage you to step-in and give it a try this year.  This'll be my 13th season to ring, and it's a joy/blessing each time.

Why?
What's so great about being a volunteer bellringer?

--get to say Merry Christmas a lot..... even to the grouches!
--lots of smiling -- both giving & receiving
--greet people who may not have been recognized all day
--witnessing the excitement of little kids put a few pennies in the kettle
--have someone tell you their story of how The Salvation Army helped them
--knowing each hour you serve saves The Salvation Army $14 -- and often will generate more donations than an hour covered by a paid ringer

Please consider it.  Lemme know if you have any questions about the opportunity.

Grace & Peace & Love to you all -

Matt
