2024 Hurricanes

The list is out:

Once again this year, no Hurricane Quintin or Ursula or Xavier or Yolanda or Zeke.

4 of the 21 are names of immediate/close family members.  That is a staggering percentage, especially considering I don't have a large family.

Weirdest names: Beryl & Milton.  Last time those were used on a birth certificate was like 1971, right?

Most boring names (i.e. names that have no business representing a mighty hurricane): Patty and Gordon.

The experts say it's likely to be a very active season for sea storms.  I sure hope not.  We need a break!

With any luck, we'll only get to Francine.  And not have to suffer the wrath of...... Gordon.
