Was shocked to learn of the passing of an old friend and all-around great guy.
We first got to know Kraig when we arrived in Decatur and started attending Glad Tidings Assembly of God. He was one of the very first to make us feel welcome and take us "under his wing" to get us introduced to everyone.
For years (at least 10, maybe as many as 15), we served with him -- and many others -- as youth leaders at The Edge (Glad Tidings' junior high and high school youth program). He was a constant presence..... always smiling, always engaging, always encouraging.
He was a talented musician and singer (worship leader), plus was very gifted with stage design and other artistic stuff.
He is now home. But the legacy he leaves behind here on Earth is one that shines so brightly. Many people were touched/reached by his kindness & goodness.
