Bankrupt Detroit is subsidizing the cost of a new stadium for their beloved Red Wings.
Cost?
$300 million smackers.
A BANKRUPT CITY IS DOING THIS!
What???
$300 million at such a time as this:
Detroit city services are already stretched extremely thin. On average, police take about an hour to respond to calls for help, and 40% of street lights are shut off to save money.
Unbelievably screwed up priorities.
Get your quality of life and safety affairs in order before you worry about hockey.
What a crazy & stupid concept there, huh?
