There are an amazing number of Guiness World Records that have been set in Illinois.
The coolest deal is that Casey Illinois (20 minutes from where I grew up) has 3 of them: the world's largest wind chimes, golf tee, and knitting needles. And under construction right now..... the world's largest rocking chair.
And just down the road from Casey, in Martinsville Illinois, is the world's largest horseshoe.
