Picture 1/15: Color Bananas
January 15
(picture 15 of 365)
So, I dropped by Save-a-Lot after work to pick up a few groceries.
Lettuce.
Yogurt.
Lunchables.
Oh yeah. Bananas too.
Take a look at the banana section of my receipt:
"BANANAS, COLOR"
What in the world does that mean?
Don't all bananas have color?
Do bananas exist that have no color?
Transparent?
Or white?
Of course, white is a color, so if there were white bananas, I'd think they would classify as "BANANAS, COLOR" too.
The only think I could think of was maybe they charge a reduced price for old bananas..... ones that are more brown than yellow.
But, doesn't "overripe" qualify as a color too?
Out for now.....
